Position: SAP SAC Consultant (Hybrid | Contracting role)

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP SAC Consultant to support a major regulatory reporting automation initiative within a top-tier banking institution. You’ll join a dynamic team of finance, data, and SAP experts working at the cutting edge of digital reporting transformation.
About the Project
The initiative focuses on end-to-end automation of regulatory reporting for a subset of returns. This includes the automation of:
Data ingestion
Transformation using complex business rules
Report generation and regulatory submission
The automation stack heavily leverages the SAP suite, particularly SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement SAC Planning models for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Develop and optimize SAC Analytics dashboards and interactive reports
Build advanced calculations, workflows, input forms, and data transformations
Configure data integration with SAP BW/4
HANA, S/4
HANA, and non-SAP sources
Enable predictive planning and what-if scenario modeling
Apply R scripting and Smart Predict for advanced analytics
Ensure performance optimization of SAC stories and models
Role Requirements
Technical Skills
5+ years of experience in SAP Analytics, with 2+ years specifically in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Hands-on with SAC Planning, Advanced Formulas, and data modeling
Experience integrating SAC with SAP BW, HANA, and other third-party systems
Knowledge of Smart Predict and R Scripting
Experience with SAC security concepts, data access roles, and governance
Proficiency in building interactive dashboards and custom widgets
Exposure to BW/4
HANA modeling (advantageous)
Functional Skills
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical SAC solutions
Experience in regulatory reporting environments is a plus
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment
Self-starter, proactive and adaptable
Desirable
SAP Analytics Cloud certification
Familiarity with banking and financial services environments
Knowledge of SAP S/4
HANA, BW/4
HANA, and regulatory reporting systems
