Job Summary:
To guarantee a smooth and successful migration from Sage to SAP for our esteemed client, we are seeking specialized SAP FI Consultant with specific skillsets to augment the internal capacity of their organization. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless migration from Sage to SAP, ultimately contributing to the ongoing success and growth of our client’s business. Also work alongside the internal team, providing guidance, technical assistance, and comprehensive support throughout the project duration
Key Responsibilities:
Double-Entry Bookkeeping:
Adeptness in the double-entry bookkeeping system, including income and expense recognition, cash flow statement analysis, and inventory valuation.
Financial Data Migration:
Migrating financial data from Sage to SAP, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with organizational standards and policies.
SAP Configuration:
Supporting in configuring, testing, and validating SAP modules to align with organizational workflows and processes.
Training and Mentorship:
Facilitation of training and mentorship sessions for internal staff to enhance their knowledge and expertise in SAP functionalities, promoting efficient usage and adoption within the organization.
Go-Live Support and Post-Implementation Assistance:
Provision of support during the SAP go-live stage, ensuring a seamless transition, and continued assistance after the implementation to address any challenges or issues that may arise
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, Professional certifications such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA would be a strong advantage.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years of that experience in an ERP environment, is essential.
Proven record of preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing assets and liabilities, and conducting financial analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA
