In this role you will be responsible for:
- Receive all incoming samples.
- Verify sample information (request form).
- Log incoming samples in logbook and LIMS according to sample information.
- Prepare samples for chemical analysis (dry, split, weigh, and mill).
- Prepare XRF pellets.
- Perform moisture and particle size distribution determination (sieve analysis).
- Maintain continuous improvement of the quality management system.
- Participate in safety meetings.
- Report all sample preparation data on excel.
- Handling of gases.
- Perform all sample preparation related tasks as per the job profile.
About you:
- Grade 12.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ laboratory working experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year working experience in the mining industry.
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
- Medically fit to work on surface and heights.
