Hisense’s televisions had a sales volume share of 26% and ranked first in the South African market, with sales revenue at 24% and ranking second.

Sales & Technical Advisor Air Conditioning (RAC & CAC)

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Sales & Technical Advisor with a strong background in the air-conditioning industry, specifically in RAC (Room Air Conditioners) and CAC (Commercial Air Conditioners) to work closely with our partner client by assisting them achieve business growth. This role is ideal for a bilingual professional who can drive sales, provide expert technical support, and assist in building a trusted brand in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Duties:

Drive sales of RAC and CAC air-conditioning products across target markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
Support new brand awareness and contribute to its market positioning through professional representation.
Work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop sales strategies and campaigns.
Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.

Technical Advisor Duties:

Provide expert advice on product installation, usage, and compatibility.
Assist clients and installers with fault finding, troubleshooting, and repair of inverter and non-inverter systems.
Conduct technical site assessments and offer solutions tailored to customer needs.
Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and compliance standards.
Deliver technical training and support to sales teams and customers as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience in sales of air-conditioning products, specifically RAC and CAC types.
Strong industry knowledge with an established client base preferred.
Technical background in installation, repair, and maintenance of air-conditioning units.
Skilled in inverter troubleshooting, fault finding, and technical analysis.
Bilingual (preferred) with strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

Desirable Qualifications:

Relevant technical certification or diploma in HVAC or related fields.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client visits or site inspections.
