Sales Support Representative wanted in West Africa!
Uni-Span Ghana is seeking a technically skilled and motivated Sales Support Representative to join our West African team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the sales team with client engagement, project coordination, and technical input across our formwork, scaffolding, and consumables offerings. The ideal candidate will have a background in scaffolding or formwork and a passion for customer service and construction innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical sales support to the senior sales team, ensuring customer requirements are well-understood and translated into effective solutions.
Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations, including technical drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with the technical design and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct site visits alongside senior sales representatives and offer engineering input where necessary.
Engage with clients and prospects, providing accurate product and service information.
Track sales activity, customer communication, and follow-up actions using the company’s CRM system.
Assist with post-sales support, including project reviews, delivery follow-ups, and customer satisfaction checks.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in scaffolding, formwork, or construction.
Strong technical understanding of formwork and scaffolding systems is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
A basic knowledge of French will be an advantage.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding construction site dynamics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or similar design/drawing tools.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
