Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 Certificate
Valid Drivers’ License
A diploma in sales or a similar qualification would be advantageous.
More than 5 years as a key accounts manager within the steel industry.
Sales experience in the building and construction industry.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Handling all enquiries, quoting and follow-ups.
Building long-term relationships with key customers
Managing specific selected accounts
Quote on enquiries using SA Steel suppliers.
Arrange logistics along with support staff.
Ensure increased customer awareness and maintain/increase market share.
Ensure optimal growth by providing excellent customer service.
Meet and improve annual budgets – inherent requirement.
Client queries are responded to timeously.
Deliveries are followed up on whenever necessary.
Customers are visited on a regular basis.
Frequent calling on customers (visits).
