WE ARE ONLY LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES THAT LIVE AND HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN KWAZULU NATAL/DURBAN, WESTERN CAPE/CAPE TOWN AND JOHANNESBURG CBD.

THE ROLE:

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving product distribution, increasing sell-through, and executing in-store brand initiatives within your assigned territory. This role focuses on direct retail execution, account development, and ensuring strong product visibility at store level. You will work hands-on in the field, building relationships with retailers, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring consistent brand presence to support consumer engagement and growth.

This role is suited to individuals with a proactive, results-driven mindset who enjoy being in the market, opening new accounts, and supporting existing customers through consistent execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Visit and service retail outlets within the assigned territory to drive sales and product availability.

·      Build and maintain strong working relationships with store owners and store staff.

·      Identify opportunities to increase sell-through through improved visibility, product placement, and stock availability.

·      Execute trade marketing initiatives, including placement and maintenance of POSM materials.

·      Ensure correct product listings, pricing, and compliance at the store level.

·      Conduct regular stock checks to prevent out-of-stocks and support replenishment.

·      Support product launches, promotions, and sampling activities in-store.

·      Gather market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback from the field.

·      Accurately capture and submit daily/weekly sales reports and store feedback.

·      Ensure territory coverage targets and visit frequencies are met.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

·      Previous sales or field experience within FMCG, nicotine, or consumer goods is advantageous.

·      Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

·      Good understanding of the local retail environment and consumer behaviour.

·      Ability to execute in-store activities with attention to detail and consistency.

·      Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently in the field.

· Well-organised with the ability to manage daily routes and store visits effectively.

·      Must have access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

·      Fluency in English is required; additional regional languages are an advantage.
