We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established laboratory service company for a motivated Sales Representative to join their team in the Durban / KZN area.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a technically strong sales professional with laboratory equipment experience to manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers while developing new business in the KZN region.

Key Responsibilities

·      Regularly visit and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across KwaZulu-Natal

·      Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

·      Identify and develop new business opportunities in laboratory and industrial sectors

·      Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical recommendations

·      Work closely with the technical service and calibration teams to ensure excellent customer support

·      Prepare quotations, maintain accurate client records, and manage sales administration

Requirements

·      2 to 5 years proven experience selling laboratory equipment or scientific instruments

·      Degree or Diploma in a science-related field

·      Strong technical knowledge of laboratory instruments

·      Excellent organisational and time management skills

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

·      Results-driven, target-oriented, and team-focused

·      Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within KZN

Package and Remuneration:

·      Basic salary: R35,000 – R40,000 per month including car allowance

·      Company fuel reimbursement

·      Pension fund contribution

·      Quarterly commission
