About the Role:
We are looking for a self-motivated and determined Sales Representative to join our team in Gauteng. This role focuses on selling biotech and laboratory equipment to customers in the biotech, cell culture, academic and research, clinical and medical research, and pharmaceutical markets. You will be responsible for managing existing accounts, generating new leads, and ensuring that all sales targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the Gauteng South region and Bloemfontein
Identify new sales opportunities and grow the customer base
Engage with scientists, researchers, and lab managers on a technical level to understand their needs and recommend suitable solutions
Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and customer engagement
Provide technical product information and conduct product demonstrations where necessary
Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order fulfillment
Requirements:
Science-related qualification (e.g., Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field)
Some sales experience in a laboratory or scientific environment
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Quick learner who can grasp technical product details and market trends
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
Not afraid to engage with scientists and discuss technical details
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel within Gauteng and periodically to Bloemfontein
