How you'll role

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Representative who can engage landlords, understand their real pain points, and close deals confidently through a consultative sales approach. This role is suited for someone who thrives in a high-ownership, target-driven environment and wants to directly contribute to scaling a business.

ROLE PURPOSE

To drive revenue growth by converting landlord leads into clients across Preferental’s full product

suite, including:

  • Preferental Promise (rental guarantee)
  • DepositPlus (deposit solution)
  • Tenant Screening (AI vetting)
  • Digital Management solutions

The role requires the ability to sell value, not just features, and guide customers through a complete

onboarding journey.

What you'll do

SALES & CONVERSION

  • Convert inbound and outbound landlord leads into paying clients
  • Achieve same-day closes where possible, while managing multi-touch follow-ups when required
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Drive high conversion through strong objection handling and closing techniques

CONSULTATIVE SELLING

  • Identify and deeply understand landlord pain points
  • Guide conversations toward solutions using a structured but natural sales approach
  • Clearly communicate complex offerings in a simple, compelling way
  • Position Preferental as a trusted long-term partner

PRODUCT & BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING

Develop a strong understanding of:

  1. AI tenant screening
  2. DepositPlus
  3. Rental risk and guarantees
  4. End-to-end onboarding journey

Translate product features into real customer value

PIPELINE & ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT

Manage pipeline effectively using CRM tools

Maintain high activity levels across:

  1. Calls (VoIP)
  2. WhatsApp engagement
  3. Email follow-ups

Ensure strong follow-up discipline to maximise conversion

COLLABORATION

Work closely with:

  1. Marketing (lead quality and messaging feedback)
  2. Customer Success (handover and retention)

Provide insights to improve:

  1. Sales processes
  2. Messaging
  3. Product positioning

What you'll need

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 3–6+ years in sales (mid to senior level)
  • Proven track record of:

Closing deals consistently

Achieving and exceeding targets

  • Experience in one or more:

PropTech / Real Estate

SaaS

Financial Services (advantageous)
