Sales Professional – Genomics and Biobanking
A company distributing analytical instruments and reagents is seeking a Sales Professional for their Genomics and Biobanking team portfolio. The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include:
Conducting customer visits throughout Kwa Zulu Natal, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga.
Providing customers with daily quotations.
Making active sales calls daily and achieving call targets.
Performing active sales visits weekly and monthly based on customer requirements.
Providing technical sales advice and customer care.
Profiling customers and processing orders.
Following up on customer queries and quotations.
Providing technical support to customers.
Conveying leads to relevant departments.
Attending sales analysis meetings.
Key Requirements
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field with direct genetics/molecular biology experience.
Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on laboratory or sales experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).
Additional: Valid driver’s license, own car, valid passport, and willingness to travel locally and internationally.

Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly motivated and driven.
