Sales & Marketing Manager Cape Town Based

Founded by ex-Jellyfish, Dentsu, PHD and OMG Digital Marketing Directors, we are a fast-growing digital marketing agency delivering performance-led solutions for ambitious brands.

We are looking for a highly organised, creative and commercially minded Sales & Marketing Manager to elevate the agency’s profile, strengthen our brand presence and support business growth.

This role is responsible for generating marketing opportunities, creating compelling sales collateral, managing agency communications and enabling the leadership team to convert prospects into clients.

The successful candidate will combine strong marketing skills with commercial awareness, ensuring the agency consistently presents itself as an industry leader while supporting a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.

Key Objective

To increase agency visibility, improve the quality and consistency of agency marketing, and support sustainable new business growth through effective marketing and sales enablement activities.

Responsibilities Agency Marketing & Brand Development

  • Own and execute the agency marketing plan.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent agency brand across all channels.
  • Manage the agency website and ensure content remains current and aligned to business objectives.
  • Coordinate content creation across blogs, thought leadership articles, case studies and industry insights.
  • Manage agency social media channels including Linked In and other relevant platforms.
  • Consistently enter and win relevant awards
  • Create and maintain a content calendar aligned to agency growth objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase awareness and visibility within target sectors.

Sales Enablement & Collateral

  • Create and maintain agency credentials, pitch decks and sales presentations.
  • Develop high-quality case studies that showcase client success and agency expertise.
  • Produce sales materials tailored to different service offerings and industries.
  • Ensure all proposals, presentations and marketing materials are professionally branded and up to date.
  • Work closely with agency leadership to improve new business conversion rates.
  • Maintain a library of approved marketing and sales assets.

PR, Events & Industry Presence

  • Identify speaking opportunities, awards programmes and industry events.
  • Manage award submissions and agency recognition initiatives.
  • Coordinate webinars, events and networking opportunities.
  • Build relationships with industry partners and relevant media contacts.
  • Support the development of thought leadership initiatives.

Marketing Performance & Reporting

  • Track marketing performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Monitor website traffic, lead generation and engagement metrics.
  • Produce monthly reports on marketing activity and business development outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure marketing activity is aligned with commercial objectives.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with agency leadership to understand business priorities.
  • Collaborate with client services and performance teams to identify success stories and case study opportunities.
  • Gather client feedback, testimonials and supporting evidence for marketing initiatives.
  • Support recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives where required.

Skills & Experience Required Essential

  • 4+ years’ experience in a marketing, business development or sales enablement role.
  • Experience creating professional sales presentations and marketing collateral.
  • Excellent written communication and content creation skills.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles.
  • Experience managing social media and content marketing programmes.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Experience with in a digital marketing, media or agency environment.
  • Experience with Hub Spot, Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Basic design capability using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.
  • Experience managing award submissions and PR initiatives.
  • Experience organising events and webinars.
  • Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
