Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sales & Marketing Manager with a strong background in agriculture or science to lead our fertilizer business development across target markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing collections, conducting field trials, and delivering value-added crop nutrition solutions. This is a critical role for an individual with deep knowledge of crop production and protection, who thrives in a competitive, field-oriented environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Lead sales and marketing initiatives for agricultural fertilizers across assigned territories.
Develop and implement strategic field promotion activities and revenue-generating schemes.
Manage end-to-end sales cycles including customer engagement, negotiation, and deal closure.
Conduct on-ground field trials and product demonstrations to showcase efficacy.
Achieve and exceed sales and collection targets as agreed with management.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and respond with proactive strategies.
Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and end users (farmers).
Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy account receivables.
Take full ownership of all responsibilities related to the fertilizer business, including reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
Benefits
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or related Science field.
10–15 years of hands-on experience in Sales & Marketing within the agricultural fertilizer industry.
Proven track record in sales target achievement and collection management.
Strong knowledge of crop nutrients, pest/disease management, and field promotion techniques.
Prior experience with agricultural crop production and maintenance is a strong advantage.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel frequently and operate in field-intensive roles.
