Role Purpose:
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, brand visibility, and customer engagement across the retail and digital platforms. This individual will own the sales strategy, oversee marketing execution, manage creative output, and help ensure monthly targets are achieved. They will also act as the store lead when the Store & Operations Manager is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Performance
– Define and implement weekly and monthly sales goals.
– Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and product movement.
– Support the Store & Operations Manager in driving the Retail Operations Associates team to meet targets.
– Align promotions and initiatives with inventory and seasonal needs.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
– Manage the marketing calendar, including campaigns, launches, and events.
– Brief and manage the Content Creator to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
– Write and manage copy across social media, email, and in-store channels.
– Lead collaborations, events, and brand partnerships.
Digital & Performance Marketing
– Use tools like Later.com to schedule social media content.
– Set up and monitor campaigns in Google Ads and Meta Business Suite.
– Perform basic Shopify updates and optimize product listings.
– Leverage CRM tools like Trengo for audience segmentation and messaging.
– Track and optimize marketing efforts using data and insights.
Insights & Reporting
– Deliver weekly reports on sales performance and campaign results.
– Share key trends and competitive insights with leadership.
– Monitor and adapt to changes in the streetwear and fashion landscape.
Collaboration
– Work closely with the Store & Operations Manager on in-store campaigns and activations.
– Coordinate marketing with product drops and inventory flow.
– Act as the backup manager when the Store & Operations Manager is unavailable.
-Training & scheduling of Retail Operations Associates
Requirements
– 3+ years in sales, marketing, or brand management in retail or fashion.
– Strong understanding of youth culture, trends, and digital channels.
– Proficient in macOS.
– Familiar with Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Shopify backend.
– Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Canva & Graphic Generation Tools.
– Experience with CRM tools like Trengo and social scheduling tools like Later.com.
– Airtable knowledge is beneficial.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Employment Details
– Full-time, in-store.
– 5–6 day workweek including some Saturdays.
– Reports directly to the Director.
KPIs (Tracked Weekly / Monthly)
– Store revenue performance vs. target.
– Campaign reach and engagement.
– Follower growth and social engagement.
– ROI on paid campaigns.
– Timely delivery of content and campaigns.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: R18Â 000,00 – R24Â 000,00 per month
