Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for recruiting, maintaining, and developing sales representatives within Cornerstone Regions, setting targets, and ensuring the achievement of sales goals.
Plan and implement the regional sales strategy.
Develop sales plans to attain set goals and targets.
Communicate the sales plan effectively to the sales teams.
Define individual roles and responsibilities within the team.
Recruit resources according to the HR plan.
Plan for infrastructure requirements such as vehicles, offices, furniture, and policy documents.
Participate in provincial budgeting processes.
Implement and monitor company policies and procedures.
Manage sales staff performance on a monthly basis.
Evaluate progress against goals monthly.
Prepare monthly management reports.
Manage expense budgets, monitor expenses against the budget, track deviations, investigate reasons, and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in managing petty cash requisitions and prepare reports on deviations.
Develop and sustain customer and stakeholder relationships.
Address customer queries and concerns promptly.
Understand the impact of stakeholder policies on regional business.
Deploy appropriate interactions and processes for stakeholder engagement.
Manage communication effectively, conduct stakeholder analysis, and understand different markets.
Align with company themes and messaging.
Manage regional office operations, administration, and client services.
Oversee the regional sales force, including recruitment, training, development, and performance management.
Visit districts and sites regularly.
Ensure branch offices project the required image of Cornerstone.
Oversee regional administrative activities and liaise with provincial administration on training and support needs.
Assist with client services and oversee sales staff and office functions.
