Role Description The Sales Manager role at X-42 is a full-time, remote position responsible for driving new business and expanding relationships with hospitality clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying prospects, leading product demonstrations, managing the sales pipeline, and negotiating contracts to meet and exceed revenue targets. The Sales Manager collaborates closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine messaging, gather market feedback, and ensure a smooth handoff from sales to onboarding. This role also involves developing territory plans, tracking performance metrics, and contributing to sales process improvements that support scalable growth across restaurants, cafés, hotels, and hospitality groups.
Qualifications
- Strong B2B sales skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, pipeline management, and deal negotiation.
- Experience with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms, with the ability to interpret data and forecast accurately.
- Background in hospitality, restaurant technology, or SaaS solutions, with an understanding of operational workflows.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritize effectively, and meet ambitious sales targets.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in a Sales Manager or senior sales role in a high-growth or startup environment is highly beneficial.
