The Purpose of this Position

The Sales Internship is a rotational development initiative aimed at recent graduates interested in industrial sales, heavy machinery, and the construction sector. Interns will gain hands-on experience across key business units and build foundational skills in B2B sales, client engagement, and product knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities to include but not limited to the following:

Participate in a structured rotational program across sales, rentals, workshop/technical, admin, and field exposure.

Gain knowledge of product applications, compatibility, and lifecycle in real-world scenarios.

Shadow Sales Representatives on customer visits and live product demonstrations.

Support the sales team with lead qualification, CRM data management, and quotation preparation.

Attend sales meetings, site visits, and trade shows.

Conduct market research on sectors relevant to our equipment offerings.

Assist in compiling RFQs, technical documents, and client proposals.

Deliver a 10-minute monthly presentation summarizing rotation learnings.

Skills / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field would be beneficial.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to cope under pressure and troubleshoot where necessary.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.

Prior exposure in sales, customer service, or data entry is a plus.

Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

A commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Passion for sales, construction, or heavy machinery industries.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Solid interpersonal skills and professionalism in client interactions.

Team player with an analytical and action-oriented approach.
