Position: Sales Executive (S)
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships to meet
sales targets
. This role involves prospecting for potential clients, presenting products or services, negotiating contracts, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have strong
communication
and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the sales process, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY .
Sales Generation:
Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and client referrals. Manage and grow existing accounts by developing strong relationships and understanding client needs. Present and demonstrate products or services to prospective customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
Customer Relationship
Management:
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target companies. Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring
customer satisfaction
and addressing any issues or concerns. Develop long-term relationships to foster loyalty and ensure repeat business. Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve
sales targets
. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to identify
opportunities for growth
. Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to management. Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to close deals that meet both the client’s needs and the company’s goals. Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure smooth onboarding and address any issues. Work with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and ensure compliance with company policies. Market Research and Business Development:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, new market opportunities, and product trends. Stay
up-to-date
with industry trends, competitor products, and customer preferences. Attend industry events, conferences, and
networking opportunities
to expand the company’s market presence.
Collaboration
with Internal Teams:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer experience. Provide feedback to internal teams on customer preferences, product performance, and market demands. Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and drive overall
sales performance
.
EDUCATION
, LANGUAGE & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Professional sales training or certifications are an advantage. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the [industry specific to the role, e.g., technology, manufacturing, retail].
Proven track record
of meeting or exceeding
sales targets

Experience with
CRM software and sales tracking systems (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot). Strong
