A leading engineering solutions provider in the HV/MV energy sector is looking for a high-performance, hunterâtype Sales Engineer to drive new private-sector business. The role focuses on securing large, complex deals and expanding into key industries such as Mining, Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, OEMs, EPC/EPCM, and other high-energy users.
OEM Background Will Be Strongly Preferred.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development in strategic private-sector markets.
- Build strong client networks and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Prospect, cold call, and conduct frequent faceâtoâface client meetings.
- Prepare accurate proposals and close deals effectively.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Update CRM systems and collaborate with internal teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience closing complex B2B deals in HV/MV environments.
- Strong track record in private-sector sales.
- OEM experience is essential
- Excellent prospecting and closing skills (nonânegotiable).
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Technical competence and commercial acumen.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposals.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
