A leading engineering solutions provider in the HV/MV energy sector is looking for a high-performance, hunter‑type Sales Engineer to drive new private-sector business. The role focuses on securing large, complex deals and expanding into key industries such as Mining, Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, OEMs, EPC/EPCM, and other high-energy users.

OEM Background Will Be Strongly Preferred.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development in strategic private-sector markets.
  • Build strong client networks and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Prospect, cold call, and conduct frequent face‑to‑face client meetings.
  • Prepare accurate proposals and close deals effectively.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Update CRM systems and collaborate with internal teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years’ experience closing complex B2B deals in HV/MV environments.
  • Strong track record in private-sector sales.
  • OEM experience is essential
  • Excellent prospecting and closing skills (non‑negotiable).
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical competence and commercial acumen.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposals.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
