The key role for the Sales Engineer’s position is to plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. Responsible for ensuringcustomer satisfactionand managing quality of product and service delivery.
The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
Manage margin level according to the National Sales strategy.
Weekly scheduling of customer visits and sales activity.
Promote products unique selling points to consultants, promoters, and end-users.
Weekly customer activity reporting to Managing Director and into CRM.
Planning and organising strategic activities to developclient relationship, specification ratio, and hit-rate.
Business development according to National Sales strategy.
Fill and transfer take-on orders, job cards, and sales orders to internal sales administration.
Check confirmation order against client orders and client requested delivery dates.
Send confirmation order to client.
CRM Operation:
Quoting of goods to contractors, consultants, and users.
Manage quotes according to price lists and discount price levels.
To ensure that the clients information is correct in CRM.
Capture of sales activities such as project, quotes, visit to clients, and general sales activity.
Return of goods:
Follow Systemair South Africa’s terms and conditions of sale policies.
Ensure that a warranty form is completed and returned by client.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
3-year degree or diploma in HVAC, Sales.
3-5 years’ sales experience.
Computer literate – M3, CRM, Qlikview, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
GENERIC SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Proven human relationships skills & team participation.
Excellent customer relations.
Consultative selling/ convincing techniques.
Excellent understanding of Systemair’s products and/or service offering.
Understanding of the Market and competitors.
