The Company

Our client is an innovative, cloud-based golf tournament management platform that simplifies event operations and live scoring for golf courses, country clubs, and leagues across North America.

Role Overview

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the platform by identifying, sourcing, and qualifying new business opportunities. Operating in a dynamic, remote environment, you will manage outbound prospecting campaigns to reach golf professionals, tournament organizers, and club managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, cold calling, and social outreach to identify prospective golf courses, country clubs, and tournament organizers
  • Qualify inbound leads and inquiries to determine their fit, event volume, and operational needs
  • Articulate the value proposition of the platform clearly to golf professionals and decision-makers
  • Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations and meetings between qualified prospects and internal sales team members
  • Maintain and update detailed records of all prospecting activities, lead statuses, and communications within the company CRM
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales leadership to optimize outreach strategies, messaging, and campaign effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales development, lead generation, outbound prospecting, or a similar customer-facing role, preferably within a SaaS environment
  • A strong understanding of or personal exposure to golf course operations, tournament formats, or league management is highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident and professional telephone presence
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity metrics and targets
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of outbound leads systematically
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and common sales engagement tools
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high energy levels within a remote team structure
