About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our office-based sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident on the phone, target-driven, and enjoys building relationships with potential business partners.

The SDR will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, reaching out to prospective merchants, and booking quality meetings or generating leads for the sales team. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who is proactive, resilient, and eager to grow within sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential merchants/businesses to partner with our client
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to generate interest
  • Qualify leads and assess suitability deals and campaigns
  • Book appointments or hand over qualified opportunities to the relevant sales team members
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects
  • Update CRM systems accurately with notes, activity, and lead status
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly outreach targets
  • Research industries, businesses, and market trends to identify sales opportunities
  • Represent the our clients brand professionally in all communications

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales, telesales, lead generation, appointment setting, or customer-facing roles advantageous
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
  • Confident, persuasive, and resilient personality
  • Target-driven with a strong work ethic
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to work with CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
