Job Overview: As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by qualifying leads and scheduling meetings for our sales team. You will be responsible for outbound outreach, engaging with prospective clients, and setting the stage for sales success. Your focus will be on building relationships, nurturing leads, and helping the sales team close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting (calls, emails, social media outreach).
Qualify inbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities by assessing needs and fit.
Research and identify key decision-makers in target companies.
Maintain and update prospect information in CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
Collaborate with the sales team to schedule meetings and demos with qualified leads.
Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to connect with prospects and set appointments.
Work closely with marketing to align on lead-generation strategies and content.
Meet and exceed weekly and monthly lead-generation quotas.
Provide feedback to marketing and sales teams to improve messaging and targeting strategies.
Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related field (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
Comfortable with cold-calling and email outreach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive) to track leads and activities.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
Must be able to work during EST business hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with sales development tools (Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo) is a plus.
