About The Role
This role is an opportunity to transition into a Sales Development Rep role for one of our tech customers, where you can leverage your sales and customer-facing experience to become a Sales Development expert, learn how to generate a high-quality sales pipeline and contribute to new logo acquisition. We are looking for anentrepreneurialand aspiring individual to join a team on one of our tech software clients.
When you join you’ll go through our Go-to-Market Academy training program, an elite entry-level business program to kick-start your sales career. In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing the outbound strategy of a successful next-gen intranet platform, where you’ll be focused on reaching out to and engaging C-level executives at some of the world’s largest enterprise companies. Moreover, we offer a clear progression path, with the potential to move into aleadershiprole within just two years.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Developing a deep understanding of the Fin Tech & SaaS space in different markets across EMEA
Conduct market research and prospecting to identify potential customers that match our customer’s ICP
Identify and understand the right people to reach out to
Reaching out to these prospects across phone, email, and Linked In, and engaging them to the point where you secure an initial meeting or product demo
Schedule and join meetings and demos with prospects
Continuously refine and improve yoursales techniquesand knowledge of our customer’s enterprise platform
Collaborate with our customers, contribute to tactics and be involved in creating the strategy of the Go-to-Market target campaigns you’re involved in
Requirements
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you meet the following requirements:
University degree
1+ years experience in a customer-facing role (ideally something sales-related) following your studies
1+ years of work experience in sales, consultancy, or tech recruitment
Strong demonstrable interest in sales, SaaS & Fin Tech, and Startups
High levels of energy, curiosity, enthusiasm, andresilience
Excellent written and verbal Englishcommunication skillsto effectively engage with C-Level executives
Based in Cape Town, or can easily relocate
South African Citizen
