Purpose Of The Role

An opportunity exists for a dynamic administration professional to join the sales & distribution team and contribute to delivering service excellence to customers The role is responsible for performing all administrative functions for the team to enable them to deliver accurate delivery on time and in full. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of delivering efficient & effective sales administration

Key Performance Areas

Maintain delivery schedules, ensuring they reflect all specified details accurately

Capture orders & maintain order changes in the ERP system on time to enable accurate invoicing at all times

Confirm stock availability before updating the daily delivery schedule

Provide the Logistics team with a daily and weekly delivery schedule by the prescribed timeframes to enable them to deliver required orders

Close out old orders in accordance with relevant procedures, and ensure that the system is updated accordingly to avoid duplications and the use of old purchase orders

Maintain the pricing schedule

Capture annual pricing updates on the system, ensuring that there is always one version in use at all times

Inform finance of price changes to enable them to update their records for invoicing purposes

Ensure that all price changes are processed and stored in line with prescribed governance requirements

Prepare pricing exception reports and resolve exceptions as necessary

Resolve queries

Respond to all communication and resolve queries timeously

Attend daily meetings as required to keep abreast of developments and to facilitate your deliverables

Reporting and record keeping

Compile daily, weekly, monthly reports as required

Maintain up to date records

Qualifications & Experience

Administrative Diploma or equivalent

At least 2 years of sales administration experience in a medium to large enterprise

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Manufacturing/heavy industry experience will be an advantage
