KZN’s award winning Vodacom Franchise Dealer with 9 Retail stores is looking for dynamic Technical Support Consultants for our Vodacom retail stores The Workshop & Westwood Mall.
We are looking for experienced, self motivated and customer orientated Technical Support consultant to foster efficient sales and after sales service.

The core focus areas of a Technical Support consultant is to ensure a customer’s device is set up and walks out working, trouble shooting mobile devices and routers, device switch and transfer, provide training to customers on their mobile devices, laptops, routers and wearables.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· Matric or Equivalent
· A+ Qualified (MCS experience ) and N+ (preferred)
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 2 years professional technical troubleshooting expertise or proven technical ability.
· High end Mobile Retail experience especially iOS, Smartphone, Tablet, PC and Mac experience
· Tech Savvy
· Passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience
· Able to effectively tailor conversation to differing customers
· Be a team player where expertise is shared and feedback is welcomed
· Able to research and grasp technical information across multiple devices and operating systems
· Min 2 years experience in front line customer facing service
· Min 2 years in IT environment within hardware and system support
· Min 2 year mobile device support in apps/data transfer /software upgrades /email set up/diagnostics on mobile systems and failures with repair solutions/Social media installations
· Microsoft packages install and basic trouble shooting on lap tops
· Implementation of Anti virus software on devices
· Passion for Technology
· Cellular sales experience
· Vodacom M2, C3D and Skyline system experience will be advantageous
RESPONSIBILITIES
Trouble shoot laptops and set up with software
Book in repairs and assess out of box failures.
Customer Care – log and resolve all customer care issues
Able to sell device accessories
Insurance sales after successful probation
Fibre and LTE sales after successful probation
PACKAGE
Basic salary – Minimum R6500.00 + best commission structure + incentives
(salary negotiable based on experience)
STORE TRADING HOURS:
THE WORKSHOP:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Friday: 8:30am – 6pm
Saturday: 9am – 5pm
Sunday & Public Holiday: 10am – 4pm
WESTWOOD:
Monday to Friday: 9am – 6pm
Saturday: 9am – 5pm
Sunday & Public Holiday: 9am – 5pm
