Job Summary

We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Executive to build and grow our sales department from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business through proactive inbound and outbound calling, converting leads into paying clients, and closing contracts that directly increase company revenue. This is a target-driven role for a hunter mentality who thrives on outreach, negotiation, and closing deals, not administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Build, structure, and scale the sales department, including processes, pipeline, and outreach cadence
  • Make consistent inbound and outbound calls to prospective clients to generate new leads and business opportunities
  • Convert leads into signed contracts and closed sales, driving measurable revenue growth
  • Develop and execute result-driven sales strategies to hit and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Manage and update customer and prospect information in CRM software, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients
  • Negotiate terms and close deals that bring in revenue and long-term client relationships
  • Coordinate follow-ups, meetings, and client appointments to keep the sales pipeline moving
  • Provide prompt, professional responses to client enquiries via phone and email
  • Track and report on sales performance, revenue generated, and progress towards targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sales executive with a track record of generating revenue and closing contracts
  • Strong cold-calling, negotiation, and closing skills across inbound and outbound channels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) required; Sage or similar financial systems a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Strong organisational skills, time management, and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to team revenue goals
  • Customer-focused, professional demeanor under pressure
