KEY PURPOSE OF JOB

NewSpace Systems (NSS) is an engineering company, specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality spacecraft products and services for an international client base. With branches in four countries, several global value-added resellers, and clients in more than 34 countries, we are searching for a Sales Administrator to support NewSpace’s global Sales team and processes.

While an exciting industry to be a part of, Space is a high-paced and pressured environment and applicants should be pro-active, efficient, organised and able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience within the Sales domain.

KEY TASKS

Responsibilities:

Generating sales quotations on ERP system

Responding to basic sales enquiries

Ensuring incoming enquiries are logged and routed to the correct person(s)

Facilitating discussions with internal product lead(s) across departments to solicit product and documentation information in order to support and improve the responsiveness of the Sales team to customers

Support the facilitation of customer meetings, including but not limited to scheduling and generation of presentations

Preparing sales reports, forecasts and dashboards

Track sales targets against performance metrics

Maintain accurate customer and enquiry records across ERP and CRM systems

Supporting process improvement initiatives

Providing sales funnel and sales pipeline status updates and feedback

Responsible for quotation maintenance and follow up

Generating sales orders and relevant kick-off documentation

Raising sales related requisitions, processing and following-up on PO’s and invoices

Supporting the export compliance function

Supporting the maintenance of the sales infrastructure (Sharepoint, CRM, Syspro and reseller platforms)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications & Experience:

Relevant administrative or sales support qualification from a recognised Tertiary Institution is preferred

Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a must

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar administrative or sales support role

Experience with CRM & ERP systems is advantageous

Experience within a high-tech environment is advantageous
