We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious SAICA Trainee Accountant to join our team in Pretoria. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of accounting and auditing tasks, and to work towards becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports.
- Conduct audit fieldwork, including testing and verification of financial data.
- Provide support in tax compliance and planning activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for clients.
- Communicate with clients to address inquiries and deliver updates.
- Engage in research to stay informed about accounting regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements:
- Completed, or currently studying towards, a BCom degree in Accounting at a SAICA-accredited university.
- Own transport.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ethical conduct.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
