The sales administrator is the connecting piece between the customer and the Business Development Team. These support functions include pre and post sales service. The role is to support the Business Development Team by assisting with admin functions which allows the Business Development Team more time to focus on client engagement.
Some responsibilities may include:
Doing quotes and revenue distribution on Odyssey.
Assist with client pre-sales information and engagement, i.e., confirming training dates, confirming training numbers, assisting with collection of sales documents, such as booking form, PO/POP, and quote.
Form thecommunicationperson between training booking contact and coordinator.
Post sales, assist with invoice, letter of attendance, and certificate queries.
Outside of the sales executive, the client can contact you to assist with a query.
Update and maintain all information in Odyssey.
Keeping track ofsales targets.
Establishing and overseeing external budgets with clients.
Resolving key client issues and complaints.
Analysing client data to provide customer training matrix.
Sitting in on meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
Min 2 years experience in an administrative position.
Matric.
NQF Level 6 in Administration would be an advantage.
Computer literate.
Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent people skills.
Good time management.
Preference will be given to employment equity candidates.
