Position Summary
As a Roof Repair Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, and complete residential roof repairs while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll work independently or with a helper to identify leaks, repair damaged roofing systems, and ensure every repair meets Fiddler’s Roofing quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose roof leaks and identify the source of water intrusion.
- Perform repairs on:
- Asphalt shingle roofs
- Metal roofing systems
- Tile roofs
- Flat and low-slope roofing systems
- Replace damaged shingles, flashing, vents, pipe boots, and underlayment.
- Perform emergency roof repairs and storm damage repairs.
- Complete roof maintenance and preventative repairs.
- Take before-and-after photos of completed work.
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations with customers in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Complete daily work orders accurately using company software.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of residential roofing repair experience
- Ability to diagnose roof leaks accurately
- Experience working with multiple roofing materials
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely climb ladders and work at heights
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation to and from the office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with standing seam and exposed-fastener metal roofs
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Ability to perform basic carpentry repairs related to roofing

Physical Requirements
- Frequently climb ladders and work on steep roofs.
- Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Kneel, bend, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
