Job Summary
The Risk and Compliance Manager supports the CEO in overseeing the group’s compliance with all applicable legislation, regulatory requirements and internal policies and processes. This role ensures that robust systems, processes, and frameworks are in place to support effective corporate governance, legal compliance, risk management, B-BBEE and Employment Equity obligations, as well as health and safety standards. The role plays a pivotal part in safeguarding the organisation’s reputation and promoting ethical, transparent, and accountable operations.
This position also provides strategic and operational support in areas such as policy development, board reporting, training, and stakeholder engagement. The Risk and Compliance Manager ensures accurate and up-to-date documentation and recordkeeping across all departments, promotes best practice and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and compliance awareness throughout the organisation.

Proficient in the standards of Corporate Governance in South Africa
Proficient user of Microsoft Office software applications and data management tools
Ability to interpret and advise on legal documents and regulations
Conversant with other specialist terminology including: Security, Project Management, Wellness, Wildlife and Conservation, Insurance, ESG, F&B, Housekeeping & Facilities Management
Academic Qualifications and Work Experience
Legal qualification preferred
BCom Business Administration/Accounting or equivalent advantageous
Extensive knowledge/experience in B-BBEE and EE legislation and application thereof
5+ years of previous experience in a similar role
Previous experience in Board Reporting preferred
