Key Performance Output
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Airside Security Management and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Contribute towards a safe and secure airside environment. Manage time and attendance and conduct resource planning. Ensure Security thoroughness and responsiveness.
Always ensure professional behavior and application of customer service standards by all staff. Ensure that all personnel files are kept up to date. Verifying permits of all stakeholders accessing airside area Perform briefing sessions at the start of shifts.
Ensure smooth shift handover of all communication and equipment from one shift to another. Attend Operations meetings and provide feedback as required.
Ensure compliance and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), including regulatory registers. Detect, investigate and report all Security incidents/deficiencies and non-conformances.
Detect, prevent and report crime prevention initiatives by actively combating all criminally inclined acts. Maintain logs and reports on security operations and suspicious findings. Attend court proceedings where necessary.
Report, follow-up and provide timeous feedback on all incidents and accidents. Compile relevant reports.
Ensure all internal and external Stakeholders comply with Security policies and procedures. Ensure and operate according to ICAO, NKP and SACAA and other relevant legislations and all ACSA policies and procedures.
Support internal and external audits. Ensure contract management in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA). Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and maintain infrastructure. Monitor and report equipment functionality in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Build and maintain sound internal and external stakeholder / customer relations whilst balancing enforcement with professionalism. Attend and assist with customer and stakeholder complaints and compliments, including escalation of complaints
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
National Diploma in Relevant Security Management is essential
National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is essential
3 years’ operational experience is essential
PSiRA C; SACAA Screener Certificate is recommended
Code B;Motor vehicle licence
National Key Point Authorised Officer
