Are you a passionate retail professional with strong leadership skills and a customer first mindset? Our client is seeking a dynamic and hands on Store Supervisor to support the daily operations of a busy retail store and help drive sales performance, team success, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager with daily store operations
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve targets
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer queries
- Assist with staff supervision, training, and scheduling
- Monitor stock levels, merchandising, and inventory control
- Handle cash ups, banking, and administrative duties
- Ensure store presentation and operational standards are maintained
- Act as Store Manager in the absence of the Store Manager
Personal Attributes:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Previous retail supervisory or assistant management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Sales driven with a customer focused attitude
- Ability to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays
- Good organisational and problem solving skills
- Computer literacy and experience with retail systems advantageous
Preference will be given to suitably qualified Employment Equity candidates, in line with the company’s Employment Equity plan.
