Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Matric (Grade 12) is essential
A relevant short course or diploma in retail, procurement, or supply chain is highly desirable
A degree in a related field would be considered a strong advantage, but not required
Experience:
– Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in a retail environment
At least 3–5 years in a senior role overseeing multiple stores or retail locations
Strong experience in procurement and supplier negotiations
Proven background in merchandise planning, product range selection, and stock control
Familiarity with POS systems, inventory platforms, and procurement software
Key Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and planning abilities
Commercially minded with a focus on profitability and efficiency
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Other Requirements:
• Must be willing to travel between store locations
• Valid driver’s license
• Based in or willing to relocate to Cape Town or Johannesburg
