ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a sales-focused role. You’ll manage the daily retail experience, speak to walk-in customers, follow up on leads, close sales, and ensure basic store operations are handled professionally. You’ll be the key in-store contact for customers, working closely with our Admin Assistant and management team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Customer Service
Welcome walk-in customers, explain product options, and close sales
Follow up on leads assigned to you
Prepare quotes and invoices using our sales system
Convert leads into paying customers and push daily sales targets
Provide professional after-sales service and product support when needed
Store Operations
Open and close store, ensure security and cleanliness
Manage daily POS sales and cash-up reports
Accept deliveries, manage inventory handovers and parts
Handle stock allocation for technician jobs
Escalate complaints, refunds, or complex queries to admin or management
Capture all sales activity in system daily
REQUIREMENTS
1–3 years experience in retail, tech sales, or store management
Strong communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Must be tech-savvy
Comfortable working alone and taking initiative
Must be punctual, responsible, and customer-focused
Must be sales-driven and eager to meet performance targets
Bonus: Basic knowledge of plumbing or water heaters is helpful (training provided)
COMPENSATION
R 5000 base salary + uncapped commission + performance bonus
opportunity to grow into Senior Sales role within 6-12 months
