Overview
An exceptional opportunity exists for a highly motivated Restaurant Manager to join the pre-opening team of a new, upmarket restaurant on the outskirts of Stellenbosch. This role is ideal for an individual with a profound passion for the hospitality industry and a dedication to curating exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the front-of-house team and oversee guest service to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist with pre-opening setup and operations to establish service standards and workflows.
- Maintain a guest- and service-centric approach across all interactions and departments.
Qualifications
- Formal Hospitality Qualification preferred
- 3–5 years of managerial experience in an upmarket dining environment
- Proficient wine knowledge
- Strong ability to lead, manage and develop a team
- Guest- and service-centric mindset
Essential Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
- Preference will be given to candidates from Stellenbosch or neighbouring areas
