Position: Restaurant Manager | Â | Coffee Shop
Quality Assurance and Food Safety Manager
Role: Strategic Quality Assurance and Food Safety Manager
Purpose: To drive risk, technical food safety, and quality compliance across the business from a strategic level, ensuring FSSC certification maintenance.
Lead continuous improvement and compliance with Group standards.
Collaborate across departments to meet quality standards and lead the QA team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the plant QA Team.
Oversee compliance management and QA / Food Safety Systems.
Collaborate with regional teams to meet quality and safety targets.
Align with Group SHEQ teams for strategic alignment and process improvements.
Provide technical expertise and insight on daily operations and cost-saving initiatives.
Conduct plant audits and manage customer complaints.
Maintain HACCP System and control documentation / process flows.
Drive customer relationship improvement and market trend understanding.
Provide technical, legal, and advisory support.
Lead technical teams to meet strategic goals and targets.
Facilitate interventions for non-compliance.
Qualifications:
Minimum tertiary qualification in Food Technology, Environmental Health, BSc Microbiology, or equivalent.
Knowledge & Skills:
Production and process management, ISO Systems, Labour relations, Food Safety, and Quality Management.
Project management, planning and organization, problem-solving, cost control, and data interpretation.
Leadership qualities such as assertiveness, initiative, resilience, adaptability, and analytical problem solving.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in FMCG bakery / dessert experience preferred.
