Restaurant Manager | Luxury Hotel Group | Plettenberg Bay
Salary: R25,000 – R28,000 (Negotiable Dependent on Experience) | Live-Out
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious luxury hotel group based in Plettenberg Bay
. This role is ideal for a motivated, hands-on individual who is passionate about service excellence and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of all Food & Beverage outlets and team members
Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service delivery
Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in achieving profitability and financial targets
Perform duties in the absence of staff when necessary
Develop and implement goals, plans, and work strategies
Monitor and report all staff absenteeism to HR
Assist in ordering of F&B, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
Build relationships with regular guests and deliver personalized experiences
Handle guest complaints effectively and follow up with necessary actions
Participate in F&B planning, control, and monthly stocktakes
Ensure strict security and control to minimize loss and damage
Minimum Requirements:
Post-matric qualification in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management style
Excellent communication and guest interaction abilities
Strong numeracy and financial understanding
Proficiency in Micros point of sale system and general computer literacy
Good wine knowledge and a high level of English proficiency
Ability to train and develop a team effectively
Enthusiastic, energetic, and service-driven
Able to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
Own reliable transport
