Our client is looking for an experienced, organized, and passionate General Manager to join their upmarket restaurant in Sandton by no later than 1 May 2025.
Applicants must have advanced rational and administrative restaurant knowledge with the ability to easily implement and maintain operational procedures.
Strong customer relations, staff management, and training skills are crucial to this role.
Candidates must be trustworthy and have a long working history at previous employers. References need to be provided as they will be checked.

Duties & Responsibilities
Overall daily running of the restaurant
Implement and maintain BOH & FOH procedures
Implement and maintain administrative procedures
Control operational costs
Identify measures to cut waste
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
Ensure the highest sanitation and hygiene standards
Enforce compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
Desired Experience & Qualification
No less than 5 years experience as a General Manager at a restaurant
Excellent knowledge and understanding of restaurant software systems
Extensive experience in managing FOH & BOH staff
Package & Remuneration
R30,000 – R40,000 pm gross depending on candidate’s skills, knowledge, and experience
