RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER
Location: Western Cape
A leading hospitality establishment is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take overall responsibility for the restaurant operation, team leadership, service standards, and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day restaurant operation.
- Lead, manage, and develop the restaurant team.
- Ensure exceptional service and high operational standards.
- Manage guest queries, feedback, and complaints.
- Monitor stock, costs, cash-ups, and financial controls.
- Drive restaurant revenue and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Take full accountability for the overall performance of the restaurant.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate.
- Relevant hospitality/restaurant management qualification advantageous.
- Previous experience in a senior restaurant management role.
- Experience in a luxury or 4/5-star hospitality environment.
- Strong restaurant operations and financial-control knowledge.
- Proven team leadership and development experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy and POS experience.
