Job Purpose
Responsible for maintaining and growing existing targets across client base in the Informal trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Floor walk, Stock management and presentation
- Returns, Administration
- Orders, New business accounts
- Sales growth (by category)
- Communication and interdepartmental synergy, Sales targets
- Crate Control, Cold Calling, Buildings Displays
- Relationship building internal and external customers, Route Riding
- Working hand in hand with distribution to ensure deliveries are timeous
- Service levels to customers are at an acceptable standard
- Stock and Price management
- Regular reports on progress
- Communication and interdepartmental synergy
- Run Promotions and follow the Marketing strategy
- Managing and co-ordinating merchandisers
Experience And Qualifications
- Matric & 3-5 years sales experience
- Experience in an FMCG environment.
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification
- Qualification in sales or marketing
- Valid driver’s license
- Business procedures, rules and processes
- Competition / competitor activity
- Client / Consumer relationships
Working Conditions
- Ability to work independently and/or remotely
- Relationship building is imperative
- Flexibility in terms of relevant client location
- Code 08 license
- Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays
