The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
- Full responsibility for all labour-related issues, including ensuring that all positions are managed at all times.
- Dealing with all disciplinary matters appropriately and according to the Company’s disciplinary code.
- Full control of production processes and responsibility for maintaining production standards in terms of quality, process flows, volumes and food hygiene.
- Continued interaction and communication with all senior management.
- Maintaining and implementing 20 Keys principles, including Health & Safety of the department.
- Adhering to Astral’s ethics policy.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- A Matric Certificate / Equivalent.
- Relevant diploma.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in a production environment.
- Must be prepared to work shifts.
- Good supervisory and interpersonal skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be able to work independently and cope well under pressure.
- Manage staff professionally and lead by example.
