MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Relationship Manager is responsible for fostering a sense of ownership over client relationships throughout their lifecycle. This role involves managing the end-to-end client relationship and ensuring a positive client experience.
The Relationship Manager markets Land Bank and Land Bank Insurance products and services to existing and new clients, aiming to grow the lending portfolio in line with the Client Segmentation model for both commercial and development farmers.
Upon receiving client interest, the Relationship Manager reviews past performance and assesses the potential of the deal. They advise clients on application requirements and facilitate the completion of necessary documentation. They visit clients to analyze the institution or organization for potential new transactions, gather all documentation, and work with internal teams such as Agriculture Economics & Advisory, Risk Management, Credit Managers, and Analysts to structure deals.
The role also involves providing recommendations on the viability of loan applications based on analysis of factors such as:
