Robin Trust is a Christian-based health service provider, located in the Oude Molen Eco Village, Pinelands, Cape Town.
We provide sub-acute hospitalization, training for home-based carers, and community healthcare services through our “Community Care @ Home” program.
We currently have the following vacancy : 1 x REGISTERED NURSE – ROBIN TRUST COMMUNITY CARE @ HOME UNITOur Community Care @ Home unit places home-based care workers with patients / clients in private homes and institutions.
Reporting to the Community Care @ Home Unit Manager, the RN will implement all unit activities and services.
Key performance areas include :
Provision of clinical care to patients as required.
Conducting home visits and auditing client files.
Reporting on clients’ health to doctors and staff.
Conducting patient assessments at homes or medical facilities.
Managing care worker selection, orientation, training, and performance issues.
Developing marketing strategies and partnerships for the unit.
Overseeing administrative processes such as contracts, timesheets, payments, and liaising with medical aids.
Ensuring completion of quality assessments and feedback reviews.
Assessing patients prior to admission to the facility.
Selecting panelists for patients and conducting site orientations.
To be considered for this role, you will need :
Registered Nurse with current SANC registration and membership.
3-5 years of clinical practice with relevant community health and managed healthcare experience (ICD 10 coding).Valid driver’s license and good knowledge of Cape Town and surroundings.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
High empathy levels.
Knowledge of disciplinary procedures and grievance handling.
Ability to manage administrative responsibilities alongside patient care.
Team player attitude.
Good computer and mobile app skills.
Availability to do call every 3rd week.
