Position Overview
A leading healthcare organization in Las Cruces, New Mexico is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to join its critical care team.
This position is ideal for a dedicated ICU nurse who is comfortable caring for medically complex patients and working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Mexico RN license required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required.
- Strong critical-thinking and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity ICU environment.
Preferred / Additional Certifications
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Previous ICU or critical-care experience strongly preferred.
About the ICU
The ICU is a 32-bed intensive care unit caring for patients with a wide range of complex conditions, including:
- Respiratory failure
- Cardiac and pulmonary diseases
- Sepsis
- Diabetes-related complications
- Renal and other critical conditions
The unit operates with approximately a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio and includes experienced RNs and CNAs working together to provide comprehensive critical care.
Pay: $74,880.00 – $90,000.00 per year
