SUMMARY:
We are a patient-focused healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality medical care and compassionate service. We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team and help provide exceptional care to our patients.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilitilies
- Deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the scope of practice
- Assess, observe, monitor and provide information about patient health and behaviour to the rest of the Interdisciplinary Team
- Provide a safe and supportive physical and psychological environment
- Manage and educate patients around important aspects with regards to prescribed medication
- Support patients with processing of therapy interventions during their daily schedule
- Facilitate patient compliance with regards to therapy activities and the daily schedule.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-treatment care
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in General Nursing Science with Psychiatry
- Registered with SANC
- Experience within a Mental Health environment would be advantageous
- Experience/knowledge in substance use disorders
