A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Regional Team Lead to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and performance management across a large regional programme. This is a two-year fixed term contract opportunity suited to a strong people leader who can manage geographically dispersed teams, standardise delivery and ensure consistent programme performance across multiple regions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, mentor, and manage Regional Coordinators and Talent Corps Supervisors/Alumni Mentors.
- Oversee regional programme implementation and ensure consistency in delivery, processes, and standards.
- Coordinate regional work plans, operational schedules, priorities, and resource allocation.
- Monitor programme milestones, deliverables, service standards, and team performance.
- Develop and track KPIs, analyse performance data, and prepare management reports and dashboards.
- Identify operational risks, resolve escalated issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the key link between Head Office and regional implementation teams.
- Support stakeholder engagement across schools, communities, government departments, and partner organisations.
- Oversee workflows, communication channels, reporting systems, budgets, logistics, and resource utilisation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Education, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification in Management, Leadership, Education, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
- Project Management certification would be beneficial.
- 7–10 years’ experience in programme or operational management.
- At least 5 years’ experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong background in performance management, operational planning, reporting, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Experience in education, youth development, community development, or large-scale social impact programmes would be highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, decision-making, coaching, conflict resolution, and report-writing skills.
