About the Role
They are currently looking for a commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to support and accelerate regional growth across Africa markets. Candidates with surgical robotics exposure are highly preferred, though professionals with strong consumables or medical device sales experience are also welcomed to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional commercial growth across Africa markets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans with distributors and channel partners
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, hospitals, procurement teams, and key stakeholders
- Identify new market opportunities and support expansion activities
- Lead product positioning, market penetration, and business development initiatives
- Collaborate closely with internal teams on marketing, training, and clinical support activities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
- Ensure achievement of regional sales targets and KPIs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or related field
- Proven sales experience within medical devices, surgical consumables, or healthcare industry
- Prior exposure to surgical robotics is highly advantageous
- Strong distributor management and regional market exposure within Africa
- Experience engaging with surgeons, operating theatres, or hospital environments preferred
- Commercially driven with strong business acumen and communication skills
- Comfortable with regional travel across Africa
