Main Objective
Achievement and growth of Territory sales and market share targets, by effective management and coaching of the sales team reporting to him/her.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for :
Achievement of Sales Targets
•Achievement of the sales targets for the allocated territory – both top and bottom line.
Coaching of Sales Team
•Incumbent must effectively manage, develop, coach and motivate the sale team reporting to him/her.
•Must actively manage team’s coverage, call plan adherence, strike rate and own hand activity, according to Sales Force Effectiveness metrics.
Wholesaler Management
•Incumbent must co-ordinate the distribution of Mylan products through various distribution channels, to ensure adequate stock levels are available. Through cross-functional interactions with KAM’s.
Stakeholder Engagement
•Incumbent must strategically manage and grow market access and key account relationships within his/her territory, as appropriate
Implementation of Sales and Marketing Strategies
•Incumbent must focus on products and implement the relevant sales marketing strategies in his/her territory.
Key Knowledge and Skills required
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to manage/work with a diverse Sales Team (Retail and Detail)
• Results oriented, with a passion to win.
• Must be able to have crucial conversations with underperformers and drive for performance excellence.
• Analytical and have a problem-solving mindset.
• Proven track record in retail Pharma sales
• Existing relationships with KOL’s
• Excellent communication skills with strong presentation skills.
• Computer Literacy at intermediate level (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid, unendorsed South African driver’s license
